It is a historical, impregnable fortress in Dumat al-Jandal in the Al-Jawf region, dating back to the first century AD. It is famous for its strength and resilience against invaders. It also derived its name from the saying of Queen Zenobia: “A rebellious giant.” It is distinguished by its view of the city, its conical towers, and its architectural composition that combines stone and clay.
